Gone Boarding is on a mission to disrupt traditional education through innovative board design. By inviting students to dream, design, build, and ride their own skate, surf, or snowboards, learning becomes hands-on, relevant, and deeply connected to their lives.

In this Eye on Student Protagonism session, learners will share what happens when education moves beyond worksheets and into workshops. Students begin by imagining the purpose, design, and artwork of their boards, then bring that vision to life through experiential learning and craftsmanship. This is more than a project. It’s ownership. It’s problem-solving in real time. It’s bringing an idea from concept to completion and riding the result.
